Truck Driver with Class B
TRUCK DRIVER
(Must have class B)
As a Class B Truck Driver for Whetstone Oil, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of fuel products to our valued customers. You will be responsible for operating a Class B commercial vehicle and delivering fuel to various locations within our service area.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Safe Operation: Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.

Fuel Delivery: Efficiently deliver fuel products to residential, commercial, and industrial customers according to scheduled routes and delivery instructions.

Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to customers, including accurate delivery ticket completion and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.

Product Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and quality of fuel products during transport and delivery, following company procedures for handling and storage.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation as per company and regulatory requirements.

Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing the transportation and delivery of fuel products, including hazardous materials handling protocols.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient delivery operations and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the past three years.
- Previous experience as a commercial truck driver, preferably in fuel delivery or a related industry.
- Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to safely lift and handle heavy hoses and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
