Executive Director
The West End Center for Youth, a non-profit organization focused on equipping children with the developmental assets they need to become productive, responsible adults, is seeking to fill the upcoming position of Executive Director. The Executive Director provides practical, visionary leadership to ensure the successful overall function of the organization, including strategic and managerial guidance to sustain and strengthen operations. This includes overseeing program development, responsibility for the organization’s fiscal integrity, implementation of human resource management, fundraising and public relations and supervision of eight employees. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors.
A relevant Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree is required, along with five years of related nonprofit experience with demonstrated success. Candidate must have at least three years of successful supervisory experience as well as documented experience managing budgets. The ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities is a necessity. An innovator and change leader with excellent writing and analytical skills is desired. Superior interpersonal skills, including ability to listen, observe and interact well with diverse individuals and groups is required. Strong decision-making skills are also required.
