Abdominal Imaging Radiologist
Wake Forest School of Medicine, located in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a full-time faculty to join us in the Abdominal Imaging Section within the Department of Radiology.
Wake Forest Department of Radiology consists of state of the art imaging facilities at three adult hospitals, a NCI designated Cancer Center, a pediatric hospital, a busy free standing imaging center and several smaller outpatient facilities. The department consists of 50 faculty, 14 fellows and 40 residents and is well known for its strong educational programs. There are 4 abdominal imaging fellows in the ACGME approved Abdominal Imaging Fellowship.
- Applicants should have strong clinical experience in all facets of abdominal imaging, including computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, fluoroscopy, conventional radiographs and percutaneous biopsy. In addition to the clinical operations, the candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's academic mission in multidisciplinary research and the education of residents, medical students, and interns. Research startup funds will be considered on a selective basis, and protected time to pursue academic interests is available.
- Qualified Candidates must be Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent, with additional training in Abdominal Imaging, and licensed (or eligible) to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina.
