Painter Assistant II - Multiple openings
Performs a variety of general maintenance and repairs of housing facilities, with a specific emphasis on wall and surface preparation, repair and painting.
Qualifications :
Responsibilities
- Paints and applies finish coats to prepared surface
- Repairs/prepares a variety of surfaces for painting and finishing including masonry, plaster, sheetrock, and wood.
- Determines the appropriate materials, supplies and equipment to complete assigned tasks; Protects and moves furniture and other items from areas where painting and finishing work will be done.
- Knowledge of surface repair, preparation and finishing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse customer and employee bases
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules.
- 2 yrs experience in surface preparation, painting and finishing.
