Interventionist



The University of Pittsburgh's Center for Research on Health Care in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Medicine is currently seeking an Engagement Coordinator. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the TREETOP Research Center, an NIH-funded center. The interventionist will facilitate implementation of the behavioral support intervention and support provider education in the flexible buprenorphine dosing procedures.

This position requires excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and constituencies. Ability to multi-task, extremely organized and very detail oriented. MSW required, LCSW preferred.


Job Summary

Participates in evidence-based clinical programming and provides extensive technical assistance to clinical staff. Develops therapeutic treatment plans, behavioral interventions, and research and program assessments. Provides individual and group therapy sessions.


Essential Functions

Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.


Physical Effort

Position is mostly sedentary work.
