The University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine (UPSDM) invites applications for a full-time, faculty position at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor level in the appointment stream (non-tenure) for the Department of Prosthodontics. The candidate should have a DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent; have a Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA-accredited program and possess or be able to obtain an appropriate dental license for clinical practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Preference will be given to candidates with a master’s degree or Ph.D., a track record of research and/or scholarly accomplishments, demonstrated skills in prosthodontic digital workflow, and prior prosthodontic teaching experience in an academic setting. We are seeking an outstanding individual with excellent leadership skills to contribute to all aspects of our clinical practice, our educational programs, and the research impact of our institution.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to didactic and clinical instruction of residents and dental students, curriculum development, implementation of program policies, research supervision, scholarly activities, and service. Candidates with significant experience and skills may be considered for leadership roles within the department. Participation in University Dental Health Services (UDHS) faculty practice is expected. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, and credentials. Application reviews will continue until the position is filled.
