Job Description

Responsible for coordinating the data collection management system (LearningSpace) for different events being used in the Shelden Clinical Simulation Center including standardized patient encounters, hi-fidelity events, and basic scheduling of events. This position will use LearningSpace to capture necessary information that is provided to students, faculty and staff for quality assurance training. This position will also assist with the American Heart Association (AHA) training center within the Sim Center.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Simulation Center staff to support utilization of the simulation center management software (LearningSpace).
• Oversee control station for simulation events and monitor progress completion of assessment items.
• Responsible for inputting case-specific details, evaluations, schedules, resource usage and manage user access in simulation recording and assessment software.
• Office support for the AHA training center.
• Provide tech support for standardized patients and simulation events.
• Coordinate staff assistance for training standardized patients and faculty on the log-in process to the simulation assessment software.
• Work off-site when required.
• Monitor simulated participant exercises, provide feedback and evaluation as required.
• Support implementation of quality assurance/improvement programs for the department.
• Will also assist with set up and tear down of rooms and task trainer events as needed.
• Fulfill additional duties and/or special projects as assigned by Simulation Center Director and the Simulation Operations Manager.

Shift

Typically 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday with some evenings, weekends or off-site work based upon departmental needs. Early morning work, sometimes starting as early as 6:00 a.m., may also be required based upon departmental needs.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

- Four years' experience working in educational, preferably simulation, environment.
- Customer-service experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experienced in or willing to learn principles and methods of quality improvement.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range:$21.28-$30.80
