Capital Region Medical Center is a full service health care system that encompasses a full service acute care hospital, the area's most expansive clinic system, a state of the art Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital based fitness facility, home health agency and the only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center in the community. Job description:
This position will be responsible for monthly preparation, reconciliation and submission of all physician compensation financials. Performs complex statistical, financial and cost-accounting analyses. Will also be responsible or management and reconciliation of department contracts and budgets. May prepare analyses and reports for university management and state and federal government agencies and responsible for distributing monthly financial reports to providers.

Physician Compensation Financials – responsible for monthly preparation, reconciliation and submission of all physician compensation financials. Prepares and distributes provider financial reports. Communicate payroll corrections.

Contracts – Responsible or management and reconciliation of department contracts, outreach professional services agreements, vendor contracts, recruitment firm contracts, etc. Work with SOM to get contracts approved. Once approved, make sure to send all parties copies of fully executed agreements/contracts. Responsible for annual physician compensation contracts. Responsible for ensuring payment is received or paid based on each contract/reconciliation. Responsible for management and submission of quarterly Medical Director timesheets.

Budget- Assists in developing departmental budget. Assist in monthly review of department accounts to ensure meeting budget. Responsible for training department staff on changes or updates related to contracts. Responsible for documenting and maintenance of job duties, saving in a central location.

Reports - Responsible for preparing ad hoc financial reports. Responsible for distributing monthly financial reports to providers. Responsible for distributing bi-monthly expense reports to provider. Other reports and fiscal responsibility as requested.

Shift

8am – 5pm Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $58,573 - $80,000 Annually
Grade: GGS-011
