Transit Maintenance Technician
Summit County is recruiting a Transit Maintenance Technician for our Public Works Department. Duties include operating light to medium duty trucks, skid-steer loaders, medium sized loaders, backhoes, tractors, snow blowers, snowplows, hand tools, generators, cutting torches, saws, grinders, and other related equipment required to maintain and repair bus shelters, park and ride facilities, assigned equipment, and sidewalks. May hire from one of the following levels depending on submitted qualifications and experience.
Minimum & Special Qualifications
Transit Tech I: High school graduate or equivalent and two years’ of experience performing the above and related duties. Must possess a valid Utah Driver’s License, CDL Class B preferred.
Salary Range: $17.01 - $23.82/hr.
Transit Tech II: High school graduate or equivalent and five years’ of experience performing the above and related duties. Must possess a valid Utah Driver’s License, CDL Class B preferred.
Salary Range: $18.02 - $25.25/hr.
