Position Available: Administrative Assistant 2, SG-15, Line # 05773
Location: SUNY College at Old Westbury - Enrollment Management and Marketing
Salary: $56,355.00 - $68,269.00 plus $3,087.00 location pay
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Different hours may be required from time to time to meet the operating needs of the College.
Status: Permanent, Full-time

Duties:
According to Civil Service Standards, but particularly: provide administrative and secretarial support to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing on a daily basis. Duties include but not limited to the following: monitor, schedule, update, and maintain appointment calendar(s); organize the Vice President's mail; prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence; and produce reports. Maintain vacation schedule with an online calendar; assist and participate in all enrollment management related events and activities; monitor office inventory of supplies, forms, and materials; serve as the first line of customer and student support for the Office of Enrollment Management and Marketing.
Create and maintain all office information in database, files, and reports using the various software programs available, such as: process all office purchases and expenditures; maintain office budget on excel and on electronic requisition system for Enrollment Management and Marketing; coordinate travel arrangements and payment process for recruitment activities and conferences; and manage the office monthly report. Forwards email inquiries to appropriate staff. Supervise student assistants and performs special projects as deemed necessary by the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing and performs other related as required.

Must be currently employed as an Administrative Assistant 2, be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service List, or be eligible for 70.1 transfer.
