SourceAmerica is searching for a Sr. Contract Specialist, with firsthand experience with GSA's Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) and Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contracts, who will provide full contract life cycle support of prime and subcontract vehicles for federal contracts performed by our network of over 600 nonprofit agencies (NPAs) across the United States. SourceAmerica is a central nonprofit agency for the U.S. AbilityOne Commission.
Responsibilities
As a Sr. Contract Specialist, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following. A full position description will be given at the time of interviews.
- Review, interpret, recommend and negotiate terms and conditions for contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, sales agreements and NDAs in accordance with federal procurement regulations and established corporate policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and advice on contract matters to colleagues, including training new employees in contracting practices and procedures.
- Direct knowledge and experience with GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) or Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contracts and the AbilityOne Program.
- Perform risk-assessments and compliance reviews in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Acquisition Management System (AMS), Agency-level supplemental acquisition regulations (e.g., DFARS, AFARS, etc.), Service Contract Act (SCA), and Davis Bacon Act (DBA).
- Analyze solicitations and contract terms to identify business risks, suggest edits to the contract terms and conditions, assist with the development of pricing strategy and support contract compliance efforts.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files documenting contract award, modification, performance, and compliance utilizing our contracts specialists.
- Conduct and maintain continuing review of progress of each contract and provide management with information pertaining to any financial, technical, or performance difficulties.
- Other functions may be assigned as business needs arise.
Salary Range
The salary for this position falls in a range between $95,000 - $125,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.
Work Environment
Our organization offers both a hybrid work model-where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek-as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements and one's proximity to one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the Washington, DC-area.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.
- 7 years relevant work experience with contract management, federal contracting, federal contract management, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years relevant work experience.
- National Contract Management Association Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) or Multiple Award Schedule (MAS).
- Experience working with the civilian agencies on behalf of a government contractor.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, SCA, and DBA and applying federal procurement regulations, policies, and practices.
- We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes- experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred.
