Senior Transportation Supervisor
Job Summary
This position has direct oversight of area Transportation operations defined as regional/departmental garage operations. The Senior Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for Transportation area performance by supervising fleet garage operations to achieve all financial and performance targets. Position will have oversight of area garages, Transportation Supervisors and bargaining unit automotive mechanics.
Job Responsibilities
Manage Transportation Area performance to targeted financial and performance targets. Develop staff and drive a continuous improvement culture.
Monitor and evaluate operating and vehicle maintenance and repair costs to assure a competitive Transportation service.
Assure environmental, health and safety compliance.
Work with internal compliance groups and outside vendors to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations governing the operation of vehicle and transportation equipment.
Set standards of quality work performance and manage a proactive and productive safety program.
Administer and implement the Local 855 and IBEW collective bargaining agreements
Ensure compliance with all PSE&G Transportation OEM processes.
Maintain and oversee PSE&G Standards for business controls and meet managements' expectation for effective internal business controls.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required
- High School Graduate or GED
- 7 years experience in Fleet Management/Fleet Operations
- ASE certification
- Experience managing a bargaining unit workforce, strong written and verbal communications skills, experience developing and managing financial budgeting process

- Organizational development skills, data analytics capabilities, SAP work management skills
