Description: Openings are available for a postdoctoral research associates or more senior position working in the Physics Department in theoretical biological physics. The research focuses on the intersection of behavior, neuroscience and machine learning. A solid track record in theoretical biological physics is preferred. Candidates applying for this position must have programming experience in Python or similar. Experience with implementing machine learning algorithms is recommended. Expected completion of Ph.D. degree by the appointment start date; outstanding research in theoretical biological physics appropriate to level of the position; ability to identify and pursue research problems independently while working well in an interactive and dynamic setting.
