Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Description: Postdoctoral or more senior research positions are available at Princeton University in the Brangwynne Laboratory within the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering to study the intracellular mechanics and phase behavior. Initial appointments are for one year, with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and available funding. The individual will have or expect to have a PhD, with appropriate research experience in quantitative biology, (bio)physics, (bio)engineering or related fields, and a solid publication record. Experience with techniques of cellular and molecular biology, cloning, instrumentation/device design (e.g. optics, microfabrication), quantitative light microscopy, and computational work or mathematical modeling would be useful.
