Hybrid Instructor, Adult Basic Skills (3 hours/week)
Requires Bachelor's degree in Education, and Microsoft Office skills; experience teaching adults or K-12 preferred. Provide hybrid Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency instruction using NC's Adult Education Content Standards at the Caswell County campus, Saturdays 9 am – 12:00 pm. Class format is 3 hours, face-to-face and monitor students' online work to meet students' goals and program performance; develop, maintain, and submit reports and records to meet program standards and deadlines. This is a WIOA Title II Adult Education program. Salary: $20/hour.
Adjunct Instructor, Advanced Manufacturing (Mechatronics)
Requires associates in mechatronics engineering technology or electrical power plant technology or electrical systems technology or industrial systems technology or related field with 2 years' work or teaching experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred. This posting is a recruitment pool for a potential Adjunct Instructor role with Piedmont Community College. This position may teach on the Person County Campus (Roxboro, NC), Caswell County Campus (Yanceyville, NC), and/or at a high school supported by the College. The class(es) may be delivered face-to-face or online; and, may be scheduled during the regular operating hours, at night, and/or on the weekends. Hiring for this position is contingent upon PCC student needs, funding, and scheduling throughout the year. The hourly rate for this part-time role is dependent upon qualifications. Classes may include: Mechanical Systems, PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), Electrical. The hourly rate for this part-time role is dependent upon qualifications.
Part Time Instructor, Adult Basic Skills (Caswell Campus (20 hours/week)
Requires Bachelor's degree in Education and Microsoft Office skills; experience teaching adults or K-12 preferred. Provide Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency instruction using NC's Adult Education Content Standards at the Caswell County campus, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm; teach multi-level class using group and individualized instruction to meet students' goals and program performance; develop, maintain, and submit reports and records to meet program standards and deadlines. This is a WIOA Title II Adult Education program. Salary: $20.00/hour.
