Position Description and Requirements
The Pemberton Borough Municipal Court, County of Burlington, is seeking a qualified, self-motivated, and detailed-oriented individual for the position of part-time Deputy Court Administrator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, to work under the general direction of the Municipal Court Judge and the Municipal Court Administrator of the Pemberton Borough Municipal Court.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering inquiries from the public, employees, and court users, providing information and procedural guidance to attorneys, court users, and community organizations. Facilitating discussions between state, vicinage, and local management. Knowledge of court administration, including a working knowledge of the ATS/ACS, PCSam, eMACS, Page Center/Web Reporting, and moderating virtual platforms such as Zoom are a plus. In addition, the candidate must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to draft correspondence, experience working with statistical reports, and assisting with financial reconciliations.
Accredited candidates are preferred but not mandatory. Pursuant to Rule 1:41-3 (d) all newly appointed Deputy Clerk Administrators who are not fully accredited must obtain conditional accreditation within 6 months of the date of appointment and become fully accredited within three years of the date of appointment.
