Job Description - Middle School Science/Social Studies Teacher
Parma Heights Christian Academy is seeking a middle school science, social studies, and Bible teacher starting in the 2024-25 school year.
PHCA is a vibrant K-6 Christian school, on mission to provide each child with a biblical foundation for life that promotes Christ-like character, scholastic excellence, and faithful service to others. PHCA is excited to be expanding to middle school in the coming years, adding 7th grade in 2024-25 and 8th grade in 2025-26.
This position will be focused on teaching science, social studies, and Bible in grades five through eighth.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and a teaching license (or the ability to acquire one) from the State of Ohio. Experience teaching middle school or a relevant teacher degree is preferred.
This is a full-time, salaried position, paid holidays, paid sick leave, and professional days, and tuition financial aid for school-age students who attend Parma Heights Christian Academy

Requirements
Education and/or Experience Level Required
A four-year college degree is required. Experience teaching middle school or a relevant teacher degree is preferred.

A valid teacher's license from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and/or the ability to obtain a license.
