Student Ministry:
- Lead a Healthy Volunteer Culture- Learn, be Self-Motivated, and Manage time efficiently
- Assist with Pastoral Leadership at Northstar Panama City Campus
- Collaborate and support each ministry environment.
- Recruit, Train, & Equip Dedicated Small Group Leaders through consistent encouragement, investment, and interaction.
- Have a positive attitude and vigorously protect the unity of our church
- Believe in developing healthy relationships with parents as an essential part to having a healthy Student Ministry
- Be present in the community with Students (attending Sporting Events, School Lunches, FCAs, etc.)
- Perform necessary pastoral care duties including prayer, counseling, and officiate weddings and funerals when necessary.
- Have a passionate heart for Jesus and the local Church
- Do whatever it takes
HOURS/COMPENSATION
- Part-Time Ministerial Position
- 20 hours per week dedicated to execute and grow a healthy Student Ministry
- Flexible Schedule (Wednesday Night and Sunday Required)
- $17-$19 per hour (DOE)
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Membership (or commitment to membership) at Northstar Church
- Licensed Minister (or commitment to be licensed through Northstar Church)
Goals and Responsibilities for the first 6 months:
Student Ministry:
? Understand and support the current systems for overall health of Student Ministry
? Assume oversight and stewardship of the Student budget for the Panama City Campus
? Have an established plan to follow or exceed student ministry growth trend averages over the past 4 years.
? Be fully integrated into the staff culture by collaborating and supporting each ministry environment.
? Provide existing and new SGLs consistent encouragement, investment, and interaction believing a healthy and growing volunteer core makes a health and growing student ministry.
? Assume all necessary pastoral care duties including prayer, counseling, weddings, funerals
? Be present in the community with Students weekly (example: attending Sporting Events,School Lunches, FCAs, etc.)
? Develop healthy relationships with each student's parent believing that partnership is an essential part to having a healthy Student Ministry
