Meadville Medical Center has recently onboarded an additional Interventional Radiologist adding another level of education and experience to the teams. Additionally; the intensivists and critical care teams are robust with numerous providers, available for consult and care.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cardiologist. The Cardiologist will be responsible for providing patient care related to cardiovascular diseases, which may include diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart conditions. The Cardiologist will also be responsible for managing patients' medical histories, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Joining an existing team means call is minimal and support staff are in place(CRNP, PA-C and Nurses). Clinic is open Monday thru Friday and allows for resident/student teaching opportunities. There is a strong primary care referral base. Fully established hospitalist service line with MD/APP teams. Our vibrant medical staff represents nearly every specialty, with top tier training. Our Critical Care teams and Cardiac Care teams pair well with our OUTSTANDING Interventional Radiologists and have afforded the patients state of the art care in an independent community hospital.


Qualifications

  • Medical degree and completion of a residency program
  • Experience with Cardiac echo, cardiac stress, stress echo, cardiac catheterization, elective and emergency PCI
  • Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
  • BE/BC in Cardiology
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
