Integration Analyst/Developer

Under the supervision of a higher administrative officer in Office of Computer and Information Services, the Integration Analyst/Developer (Professional Services Specialist 2, Computer Services) is responsible for independently performing professional work of considerable difficulty using established policies, procedures, precedents and guidelines; and does related work as required. This position promotes institutional success by providing our campus partners with value-adding information management services and a continuously modern and up-to-date technological infrastructure. The Integration Analyst/Developer's key responsibilities include evaluating, developing, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading a wide variety of complex technology solutions and projects to support Kean's complex ERP environment. The successful candidate will provide application functional support including, but not limited to, coding, testing, documenting, troubleshooting, refinement, and installation of programs /systems in order to satisfy user requirements. This position is based at the Union, NJ campus but supports other campus locations in New Jersey and China. This is not a remote position and requires a physical presence on campus as determined by the Supervisor.Travel and availability to work evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree is and three (3) years of experience in programming or systems analysis experience; or one or a combination of the following: data processing, installation and maintenance of application programs, technical support, and/or design and preparation of programs is required. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute experience on a year for year basis. A Master's degree may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience; A Ph.D. or Ed.D. degree may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience. Ability to write clear, concise, and efficient code with documentation, read, debug, update and maintain code developed by others is required. Knowledge of databases (SQL, U2, Oracle, or other similar databases), as well as web development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON), database systems (SQL, SQL Server, MySQL), and scripting (PHP, Python, R) skills are also required.

The selected candidates will be required to pass a four (4) month Working Test Period to become eligible for a regular appointment.
