Position Summary

Reporting to the Head Coach, Women’s Basketball, the Director of Women’s Basketball Administration, will support the women’s basketball program by planning and overseeing team activities that advance the mission of the program. This position requires frequent travel, as well as evening and weekend hours.

 

Essential Functions        

  • Writes and distributes monthly newsletters to all alumni and women’s basketball fans.
  • Assists the recruiting coordinator in organizing and planning recruiting travel for coaches and with team social media and marketing efforts.
  • Assists in the organization of on-campus recruiting.
  • Oversees the development and organization of all community service activities including team school visits, clinics, reading days, and practice visits.
  • Acts as the liaison with the Athletic Ticket Manager, providing player, coach, and recruit ticket lists for games, as well as with the marketing department to help coordinate all game day marketing efforts.
  • Coordinates basketball camps and clinics, including communication, outreach, and recruitment.
  • Complies with all NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference, and University rules and regulations.
  • Serves as the alumnae point of contact.
  • Responsible for informing the program about NIL updates.

  • Attend fundraising events upon request to support the program.

 

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience        

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills     

  • High level organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to follow instructions and be solution-oriented; problem-solver mentality.
  • Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working in athletics in a collegiate environment.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

 

Minimum Starting Salary: $62,400

 

Maximum Starting Salary: $73,000

 

Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
