ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS IN PSYCHOLOGY (ONLINE PROGRAM)
Ferrum College seeks to appoint a pool of applicants for the 2020-2021 academic year for adjunct teaching positions in Psychology. This pool will be accessed only when an opening arises. Credentials will remain active once the application is submitted. Adjuncts are hired to teach on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed.
Required Qualifications
- D. in Psychology
- Graduate level coursework in Research Methods, Statistics, and Psychometrics
- Teaching/training experience in a post-secondary institution
- Strong oral presentation and communication skills required
Experience Preferred
- More than 5 years of relevant field experience in Psychology
- Teaching experience in graduate-level instruction
- Experience with assessment of student learning outcomes
- Experience with distance learning and/or alternate instructional delivery systems
