Drew University seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Marketing appointed in the Department of Business beginning August 2024. The successful candidate will teach core courses in our undergraduate Marketing major. Since its addition as an independent major in Fall 2020, the Marketing major has quickly grown to become one of the top five largest majors on Drew's campus, a reflection of both its popularity with students and its essential nature within the field of business. This new hire may contribute to a broad range of possible areas of expertise within Marketing, including (but not limited to): advertising, brand management, behavioral sciences, digital marketing, marketing analytics, marketing strategy, marketing design and/or other specialty areas. This new tenure track faculty member will contribute to a program that values experiential learning, critical thinking, ethics, interdisciplinarity, and global business perspectives. Drew is dedicated to exceptional faculty mentorship, connecting the campus with the community, and a focus on student experiential learning. We especially encourage candidates with industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:
The position's primary responsibilities include teaching, research, student advising and engaging in service activities for the Department of Business and University. Our ideal candidate must have the experience of or potential for teaching and mentoring students in an undergraduate program; be prepared to teach introductory marketing courses and/or courses essential to the Marketing major; demonstrate the capacity to produce peer reviewed scholarship in professional marketing journals; and show a readiness to work collaboratively with a diverse faculty and on curricular development.

Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field by August 1, 2024.
