Position Purpose
To provide a broad range of Raiser's Edge database management and oversight, including data entry, data management, reporting services and systems support for Medical & Healthcare Advancement and Dartmouth Health Members and Organizations. Supports the management and maintenance of multiple philanthropic databases for Dartmouth Health Members and Organizations.

Skills & Knowledge
• Export knowledge of Blackbaud Raisers Edge.
• High level of multi-tasking required. Ability to manage multiple data management projects, ensuring that all are completed in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.
• Expert knowledge of Excel and database management.
• Ability to use critical thinking skills to formulate questions and get answers from users about their reporting or data entry needs.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and cooperative in a collaborative, fast paced, dynamic, and sometimes stressful environment.
• Good judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse community.
• Brings joy to the work and a sense of humor to the workplace.
Experience
• Data visualization experience preferred – Tableau, Power BI etc.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Project management experience.
• Experience in developing or re-engineering work processes.
• Experience working with multiple end users with varying skillsets to create a variety of outputs.
Education
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certification in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge preferred.

Description
Philanthropic Database Support for DH Members and Organizations
• Provides comprehensive and collaborative training, troubleshooting and process support for Blackbaud Raiser's Edge (RE) to the broad MHA office and Dartmouth Health affiliate hospitals, inclusive of additional software: Blackbaud NetCommunity, Luminate, TeamRaiser, PaperSave and SmartSheets.
• Use various project management tools to plan for, track, and report out project success and impediments for ongoing data integrity projects and data migration plans.
• Analyze need, test, and develop end-user reports and reporting systems for multiple fundraising offices.
• Will work closely with the Associate Director of Database Management to build a robust data visualization suite of reports to support the strategic initiatives of the fundraising office.
• Will provide comprehensive project management for all data and database needs.
• Provides onsite training and data support as needed.

Data Maintenance
• Responsible for the integrity of all data that goes into RE. Actively consolidates and normalizes all data to be consistent across the entire health system.
• Expert in RE queries, exports, reporting and mass updating tools. Able to identify data inconsistencies in the database, making corrections as necessary and performs a wide variety of data entry projects that enhance the use of the system.
• Receives data from multiple sources, regularly updates data in an accurate, consistent, and timely manner, including preparing import files containing biographical and employment data.
• Implements a system of data integrity checks that ensures the consistent entry of data into RE.
• Sits on the Data Governance Council as a subject matter expert. Disseminates the decisions made by the Data Governance Council to the affiliate hospitals, to ensure all data standards are consistent.
• Works closely with the affiliate hospitals to ensure leadership, management and employment lists are coded correctly and are current.

Reporting and Information Systems Services
• Using a variety of tools – RE, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Office, SmartSheets, etc. – provides a wide variety of reports to colleagues in MHA and DH affiliate hospitals.
• Using strong critical thinking and systems analysis skills – will work closely with end users, Advancement Administration and affiliate fundraisers to analyze system status and upgrade needs.
• Identifies new reporting tools, develops specifications, documents process and runs jobs.
• Tests generated output to ensure accuracy of results.
