Welding - Workforce Development Instructor (Pooled Position)

We want YOU to share your passion and skill by teaching adult learners in County College of Morris’s brand-new Advanced Manufacturing facility.
We have state of the art equipment in an amazing welding lab setting.

If you possess the following qualifications, we want to meet you:
- 2+ years of full-time, paid journeyman level experience as a welder.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of current industry practice
- Experience delivering training/teaching to adult learners (including corporate training)
- AWS Certification preferred.
This position will:
- Provide instruction to students in the diverse areas of welding, i.e. FCAW, MIG, TIG, Stick, brazing, flame cutting and plastic welding, hand and semi-automatic and automatic welding processes.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to prepare students to apply technical knowledge and skills in an entry-level position or apprenticeship.
- Responsibilities include creating and teaching courses in your area of subject matter expertise. Class schedules may include day, evening, or weekends.
