The purpose of this class is to perform professional level administrative duties in coordinating the daily operations of assigned College division or function.

Bachelor's degree in information systems, liberal arts, business, social services, human services, counseling, or similar area. Master's degree preferred.

Four (4) years of experience in higher education, with an emphasis on schedule management, project management or systems experience is required. Supervisory experience preferred.

Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.

  1. Coordinate a functional process within assigned College department or division.
  2. Implement department programs or initiatives.
  3. Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
  4. Maintains course- and section-related department records and files, as required.
  5. Conduct and attend meetings, as required.
  6. Supervise, advise, and evaluate assigned staff, as required.
  7. Prepare, analyze and provide reports on scheduling subjects, as requested.

  1. In coordination with the Director, Centralization & Systems, proactively coordinate the planning and scheduling of CE instruction for thousands of course sections annually, which requires interface with more than 25 program coordinators and directors.
  2. Lead and manage CE's Schedule unit and staff, ensuring quality control for data entry, section processing, and section-level compliance.
  3. Create and maintain CE QuickReg catalogs, as needed.
  4. Lead and manage CE's Adjunct Faculty Contract Processing unit, ensuring quality control for data entry, compliance, and contract processing.
  5. Serve as the primary liaison with Payroll for CE adjunct faculty contracts.
  6. Assist the Director, Centralization & Systems and the Senior Director of Enrollment Services (Registrar) with the ongoing annual physical review of each CE designated space at all college controlled and community-based facilities to ensure usage adequacy and usefulness.
  7. Serve as the primary liaison with the Registrar's Office for space assignments for all on-campus CE course sections and events and CE usage of the college's scheduling application.
  8. Provide space utilization reports, recommendations, and solutions to leadership as required.
