Engineering Technician – Inspection. St. Michael (pop. 20,000) is seeking an Engineering Inspections Technician to oversee infrastructure construction inspections throughout the City. Responsibilities include the inspection supervision of the Engineering and Communication and coordination of private and public improvement projects between Developers, Consultants, Contractors, Residents and governmental units is an important part of this position. A minimum of five years experience as an Engineering Technician in public works-related project construction inspection and/or design is required. Vocational/Technical school graduation (2 year) or greater in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is also required. Surveying, CAD, and GIS experience desirable. The salary range for 2024 is $36.22/hour to $48.25/hour, depending on qualifications.
