COMMUNICATIONS DISPATCHER

CITY OF MT SHASTA COMMUNICATIONS DISPATCHER ON-CALL

The City of Mt. Shasta is accepting applications for the position of Communications Dispatcher On-Call. 

This is a part time position that works 2 to 12 hour shifts on an “as needed” basis. 

Compensation is $21.09 per hour plus $4.75 per hour in lieu of benefits.  There is also a hiring bonus of $5,000 - $15,000 DOE. 

Under the direction of the Dispatch Supervisor, the position performs a variety of dispatching, clerical, and record-keeping duties in support of City-wide emergency and non-emergency Police services.  Interested applicants can obtain the job requirements, a job description, and an application from City Hall by phoning 530-926-7510 or on the City’s website at www.mtshastaca.gov under Human Resources.
