Apache Mills is looking for a creative individual to join our expanding in-house design and marketing team! 

What We Need

This person would be directly involved in the development and execution of marketing and branding initiatives. We are looking for candidates that have the ability to think outside the box and develop unique ideas that stand out. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinker with a creative imagination who is aware of current trends, is proficient in the required software and has excellent verbal and written communication skills to excel in a fast-paced environment. It's an exciting time to join this team!

 Qualifications
Candidate must be fully proficient with the skills and understanding of the following, including but not limited to: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In-Design, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Social Media Platforms such as Instagram. Digital Photography is a plus.

Applicant must have a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent of 3 to 5 years’ experience. 

Team Player is a MUST, no exceptions.

Must have a creative imagination to develop unique and innovative design concepts with attention to detail. 

Must have a good understanding of typography, aesthetics, color schemes, layout, and designs trends. 

Must be able to communicate well, follow instructions, coordinate, and work as a valued team member. 

Must be able to give and receive feedback in a humble, constructive way. 

Must be able to take accountability for projects and meet deadlines.

Must work well in a fast-paced environment, that requires flexibility, ownership, and focus.  

 Responsibilities

Creates and executes designs, presentations packaging and digital media ensuring it is aesthetically pleasing and functional.

The ability to collaborate and conceptualize with VP of Design. Graphic designers should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design and deliver projects on time and within budget. 

Develop and execute original content and determine the ideal usage of color, text font style, imagery, and layout. 

Obtain input from VP of Design to ensure that designs meet organizational standards, brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately. 

Work independently as well as cooperatively within the marketing team to meet deadlines, schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include multiple simultaneous projects. 

Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities. 

Using trends in the market when designing and executing projects. 

Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video.
